Wilson Haller, age 74, of Tarentum, PA and formerly of Erie, PA passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 9, 2023. Beloved husband of Marlene S. Haller. Born on March 16, 1949, in Natrona Heights, PA. He is the son of the late Carl and Gladys Haller. Loving father of Matthew Haller of Erie, PA, Lora Haller of Homer, AK, Natalie Haller of Oakmont, PA, and Leah (Buster) Swisher of Natrona Heights, PA. He is also survived by his sister, Sally (Ed) Fish.

Wilson was a graduate of Tri-State College in Angola, IN. His career in food manufacturing included Campbell’s Soup in Napoleon, OH; Welch Foods in North East, PA; Red Wing in Streater, IL; and North Coast Processing in North East, PA. He retired in 2011. Wilson’s favorite place was his cabin in Driftwood, PA. He was also an avid Pirates and Steelers fan.

Burial will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to EHCA Foundations 226 E. 27th St. Erie, PA 16504-1099.

Wilson was one of nicest and most capable person I worked with at Welch’s. He was always willing to share his extensive knowledge of grape processing. I am sure he will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
