Mary Jane Dalessandro, age 84, of Pittsburgh, passed away on September 27, 2023.
Born on September 4, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Rose and Bartley Mooney.
She was the loving mother of Debra (Paul) Arnold, Edward (Tammy) Rump, Julie Leistner, Diane Rump and Cheri West. Dear sister of Kathy Lowman, Jim Mooney, Bob (Doreen) Mooney, Janet (Bob) Berg, and David Mooney. Adored Grandma of 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; John Dalessandro, daughter; Karen (Joe) Hellwig, brother in law; Rich Lowman, and her first husband; Edward Rump.
Jane enjoyed her time when she lived in Las Vegas and San Diego, exploring what it had to offer. If you knew Jane, you knew that she loved to spend her time at the casino and regularly listening to her favorite talk shows. She loved cookbooks and trying new recipes. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 1:00 -3:00 and 5:00 until the time of service at 7:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
