May V. Birmingham, known as Auntie May, Grandma, and Nana, passed away with family by her side on January 13, 2024.
Born on September 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John & Lydie Kelly.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Birmingham, whom she was married to for 49 years; loving mother of Thomas Birmingham, David Birmingham, Eileen (Kim) Birmingham and the late John Birmingham Jr.; cherished grandmother of Kelly (Jason), Caitlin (Patrick) and the late Craig (surviving: Kerry); great grandmother of Riley, Ethan, Jameson, Hollis, Cordelia, and Malcolm. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by siblings.
May was an incredible artist, whether it was painting, sewing or needle pointe. She was very social, she left many friends and memories at The Sheridan of Bethel Park. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10 am – 12 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
