Michael A. Poleto

Michael A. Poleto, age 73, lost his battle with lung cancer on April 14, 2024.
Born on August 21, 1950 in Renovo, PA, he is the son of the late Grace Emerick Chatagnier and Angelo A. Poleto.
Michael is survived by his children, Michael (Shannon) Poleto II, and Melissa (Jeremy) Poleto, his grandchildren Anthony, Alexandria, and Skyley, and his brothers Tom and Chuck Poleto.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Ricky and John Poleto.
After graduating high school he moved to Harrisburg and went to school at Thompson Institute. He worked various jobs until his 30th birthday when he had an aneurysm that left him paralyzed on his right side. That didn’t stop Mike, he continued life the best he could. He moved to Carlisle, PA, where he lived for the next 39 years until 2023 when he went into a nursing home close to his son until his passing.
At the request of the family, all arrangements will be private.
