On July 7, 2023, Michelle “Mickie” Ezarik, 68 of Scenery Hill passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 13, 1954 in Washington, PA, and was the daughter of Fred and Ann.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Stephen Ezarik; their three daughters; Justine Ezarik, Breanne Baker, and Jenna Ezarik; her granddaughter Brynn Baker; her sisters Grace Angotti and Victoria Gibson; and her nieces Tammi Bogan and Cindy Angotti.

Michelle graduated with her Masters Degree from West Virginia University, and worked as a physical education teacher at Central Greene School District for 36 years until her retirement in 2015. Michelle loved her time teaching and truly cared for all of her students.

Michelle was a devoted wife and a dedicated loving mother first and foremost. She cherished time with her family above all and especially loved her role as “Nunny” to her granddaughter, Brynn. Michelle was an excellent cook, enjoyed reading, loved the beach and traveling, and especially loved spending time with her family.

Michelle will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She would like to thank Dr. Rihmland, Claudette, and the wonderful staff at The Health Center for Integrative Medicine for their exceptional care along with Dr. Holekamp and Dr. Kapoor and the amazing nursing staff at UPMC.
