Richard Todd Glaser

Richard Todd Glaser, age 44 of Peters Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, May 15, 2020. He was born December 17, 1975 and is the beloved son of Wilmer and Patricia Glaser. He is the loving father of Lillian Glaser; brother of Shannon (Michael) McBride and Jaime (Kyle) Tharp; uncle of Nicholas, Adelaide and Knox Tharp. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Richard was an electronics engineer for 15 years, working for Joel, Leica, and Zeiss. He was a strong, strong man who finally rests in peace with God through eternity. At the family’s request services will be held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317. Dear Glaser Family, My heart aches for you on the passing of Todd.I worked with Todd for 8 years at Leica. In fact, Todd was the first person that I hired when I became a manager. Todd was always a great person to be around, he did whatever was needed to get the job done and the customers were very complimentary of the work that Todd did.May God rest his soul, and may God help you through this difficult time. My heart and thoughts are with you all. Todd was the seamless image of a gentle, compassionate, and content soul. I remember his passion for dirt bikes and muscle cars. Actually remember him saying “ The best place to get a GTO or Charger is from the desert area, because the frame is free of rust and not exposed to salt”.
