Robert G. Brinkley, Sr. passed away on January 6, 2019. He was the son of the late Mary Hickey and Albert Brinkley. Loving husband of Linda Shirley Brinkley. Adored father of Robert “Bob” (Deborah) Brinkley Jr., Lisa Brinkley, Lori (Jason) Travis, Theodore “Ted” (Tiffany) Brinkley, and Amy (Brian) Dunn. Beloved grandfather of Evelyn, Lydia, Noah, and Kathryn. Cherished brother of Barbara Brinkley.
Robert had an interest in genealogy. He was a proud cub scouts pack leader. Through his working career, he ran a small business resource center. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and had a passion for music, as he was well-known for writing his own songs. Robert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Girard, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2205 Tibbetts Wick Road Girard, Ohio 44420, 330-759-5269.
