Robert Robertson, age 63, of New Kensington, PA, formerly of Miami and Ft. Myers, FL passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013.  Beloved husband of Darla (Stirland) Robertson and loving father of Kody Orkis, US Navy – Special Assignment Diplomatic Security. He is the cherished son of Sarah Swanger of New Kensington; brother of William Smith of New Kensington and Cathy (Jeffrey) Harbison of
Natrona Heights; son-in-law of Joyce and the late Ronald Stirland of New Kensington; and brother-in-law of Ronald (Elaine) Stirland of Leechburg and Jeffrey (Mary) Stirland of Lower Burrell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Rob was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed watching movies (especially The Classics), sports, and listening to a variety of music.  His second love was spending time with his dog, Bella.  He was an adore husband, father, son, brother and uncle and will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Rob’s life at St. Andrews Anglican Church, New Kensington on Wednesday, February 6th at 11:00 AM.  A reception will immediately follow at the church and all are welcome to attend.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Valley Points Family YMCA in New Kensington, PA.  Please view and sign the family’s online guestbook at: www.cremationfuneralcare.com
