My heart full of sadness for your loss of such an incredibly kind and loving person. He was a very special part of my life during those tumultuous high school years. Scott was a talented poet and songwriter even in those days. I still cherish his beautiful writings as a remembrance of a special time in all our lives. Scott was one of those people you felt lucky to have become a part of your life. No matter how brief or how long ago. I honor his giving nature and know he will be greatly missed.

To the Baker family: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Scott. I knew him while we lived in Lynchburg & worshiped at Grace Church. He was such a gifted songwriter & worship leader. His songs are some of the most inspirational worship songs I have ever sung. Praying for your whole family at this most difficult time.

As one who played music with Scott at Grace Church in Virginia, I remember most his heart for God. Scripture came alive in Scott’s lyrics. Sanctify My Heart, Father Forgive Me, Have Your Way in Me... so many wonderful songs. Memories that warm my heart and follow my family and I with joy. Such a great loss. Sing on Scott to our Savior.

Dearest Starlet and Family, We grieve with you during this time. We are so so sorry for what you are trudging through right now. May the God of hope give you His peace that passes understanding. Scott will always be remembered for his deep love for our Lord and those who were in his life, for his remarkable musical gifts, his wisdom and so much more. He has always had such a profound way of taking Scripture and the Truths of the Kingdom of God and making them come alive in our hearts and souls as we sing and worship our Creator. He will be missed deeply. Starlet, you are loved and we are here for you. You always have a place to stay in Concord and are welcome anytime. We love you!
