Doris Bevington Shrewsbury

Doris Bevington Shrewsbury, age 96, of Cranberry Township and formerly of Avalon, PA, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Clyde G. Shrewsbury. Born on September 7, 1926, in Pittsburgh, PA, she is the daughter of the late William D. Bevington and Dorothy N. (Horton) Bevington; loving mother of Robert (Michele) Shrewsbury and Karen (Jim) Lindberg; cherished grandmother of Tara (Joe) Wachter, Stacy (John) Raimondi, and Matthew Lindberg; great-grandmother of Jacob and Gianna Raimondi; sister of the late Ruth Bevington Foley, Jack Bevington, and Bud Bevington; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Doris worked at Mandls Bakery Avalon. She was an avid member of the Suburban General Hospital woman’s auxiliary in Bellevue. In addition, she was a Group Leader of many trips she organized through Lenzner Bus Lines. Per Doris’s wishes, there will be no services.
