Kristin Noel Hela (Curdie)

Kristin Noel Hela (Curdie), 46, of Beaver, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 24, 2022, after a private battle with colon cancer.
Kristin was born on October 21, 1976, to John Curdie ILl and Sherron Curdie (Brown) in Washington, PA. She attended Canon McMillian High School, participating on both the swim team and band (flute & piccolo), graduating in 1994. Kristin matriculated to Penn State University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Logistics, in 1998.

After graduation, Kristin accepted the position of Assured Supply Coordinator with The Anderson-DuBose Company, where she worked until her passing.

Kristin wed her devoted husband Michael Hela in 2011, and together they have two amazing boys, Matthew (10) and Evan (8). Kristin was also a stepmother to Brad.

Kristin truly dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Kristin excelled at motherhood and was the foundation of her family. She was remarkably thoughtful and generous, never missed a special date, and was incredibly kind and sweet. Whether it was cheering on her boys at the ice rink or encouraging their many sports and interests, she was our constant cheerleader and supporter.

Kristin was predeceased by her mother, Sherron, sister Melissa and mother-in-law Dorothy. She is survived by her husband Michael, sons Matthew and Evan, father John, stepmother Elizabeth, father-in-law Mike, stepson Brad, sister-in laws Leisa (John), Allison, Erin and Tara, brother in laws Jason and Chris, and lifelong friends Marcie Killmeyer and Cathy Kendrick. She was also a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews. We will all miss Kristin forever.

Services will be held at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray. PA 15317 on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 1-3 and 6-8. The funeral services will occur at 10 AM on Friday, December 30, 2022, also at funeral home. Committal service will be held at Center Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 255 Center Church Road, McMurray Pa 15317.
