Marvin L. Cannon

Marvin L Cannon, age 70 of Houston Pa. passed away peacefully Monday January 16, 2023, in his home.

He was born November 16, 1952, in Canonsburg Pa. the Son of the late Robert and Eleanor Dayton Cannon. Marvin, Retired and lived his life in Houston, and Canonsburg Pa. with his late wife Cathleen.  He attended Canon McMillan High School and was a Presbyterian by faith. Marvin Honorably served in the USMC from 1969 to 1973.  He was employed as Horse Trainer and Groom at Meadowlands Racetrack and Casino. Marvin was a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. 

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved brothers, Richard “Butch” Cannon (Connie)of Virginia Beach, VA, Wayne Cannon  (Linda) and, sister Betty Palleria of Canonsburg Pa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded  in  death  in addition to his Wife and parents are, three brothers, Bobby Cannon, William Cannon, Oscar Dale Cannon (Infant) and three sisters Nancy Kozak, Judy Graff,  and Edith Fischer.

Internment and Funeral services will be held  at 12:30 pm on April 26,2023 at the  National Cemetery of the Alleghenies 1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017
