Vivian Marcella Patterson

Vivian Marcella Patterson age 87 of Upper St. Clair passed away suddenly with her devoted, youngest, loving daughter Jo – Ellen Marcella Patterson by her side on April 30, 2017. 

Born on July 21, 1929 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late India and Garland Parker.

Beloved wife of the late Quinton W. Patterson; loving mother of Brenda G. (John) Moore, Charlene C. Scott, Quintina E. (Jeremy) Kurtz and Jo-Ellen M. Patterson; cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; dear sister of the late Eddie Parker and Paul Parker; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Vivian was an incredible chef and seamstress. She was an avid reader and a lover of murder mysteries and crossword puzzles.  She was a 1947 graduate of Schnley High School and she attended Cheney College.
