Samuel Rubino, age 88 passed away peacefully on September 1, 2017.
Beloved husband of Dorothy Rubino; loving father of Barbara Kaulback, David Rubino and Thomas Rubino; dear Stepfather of Laura Kerstetter; cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother of Florence Podolak, Eleanor Mastroianni, Betty Flati, Jackie Ciccozzi, the late Ann Barco Michaluk, Anthony Rubino, Alice Cuccinelli, Rose Rubino, Dorothy Josipovich and Robert Rubino; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After graduating The Citidel, Sam proudly served in the US Army in the Korean War.
There will be no visitation. Family and friends are welcome to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 am for a service with full military honors, 1158 Morgan Rd., Bridgeville, PA 15017. EVERYBODY PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
