On Monday, October 23, Robert Paul Edwards passed away peacefully. Bob was born to Paul Leo and Helen Yodanis Edwards on January 9, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA.
Bob served in the Army Reserves in 1967, and spent his career as a salesman for Mercedes Benz for over 40 years. Upon retiring he enjoyed traveling to the beach, namely Nags Head, NC, and to Las Vegas, NV, to visit his sons. Bob also found pleasure in volunteering at the Phipps Conservatory.
Bob will be best remembered for his sarcasm, his kindness, his love of fresh cherries, his enjoyment from driving his original blue Miata, and his loving dedication to his family. He was a great father that was always there for his sons, showing them how to fix things on their own thereby showing them how to be independent, and he was a dedicated husband to his loving wife of 47 years, Judy.

Bob is survived by his wife, Judy, his son, Nevin, his daughter-in-law, Michelle, his son, Colin, and his daughter-in-law, Keena, in addition to his brother, Richard, sister-in-law, Kathryn, brother, William, and sister-in-law, Janet.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 27, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, 15317. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (lls.org) or Family Hospice & Palliative Care (familyhospicepa.org).

So saddened to learn of Bob's passing. He always had such style and flair about him, and I was granted the privilege of having the opportunity of meeting him. May you always find and cherish all the loving memories you shared with him. Mary Ward

To Bob's Family/Friends: I just learned of Bob's passing yesterday when I was at Sisson Motors getting my car serviced and it deeply saddened and shocked me - I had the pleasure of working with Bob when I worked there part-time as a Greeter some 25+ years ago and he was a wonderful man and just an all around upbeat nice guy - he was always so kind and caring - one of a kind! You all have my deepest sympathies and also my thoughts and prayers for strength, comfort, and peace when you need it the most. There is no doubt he will be watching over all of you from above. May he Rest in Peace.
