Lorene “Rene” S. Donahue

Lorene “Rene” S. Donahue, age 75 of Lawrence, PA formerly of Bethel Park, PA passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Born on March 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Rose and Clifford Stansberry. Beloved wife to Ken Donahue for 38 years. Loving mother to Darin Short of Warrenton, VA, Todd (Sandi) Short of Venetia, PA, and Christian (Tiffany) Short of Valrico, FL. Cherished nanny to Kirsten, Jarrot, Cade, Sierra, Max, Eli and Willow. She was preceded in death by her step-daughter to Jennifer Donahue.

Rene was a special person who was loved by countless friends and neighbors. She was a retired registered nurse at Canonsburg Hospital and later became a home care nurse. Rene enjoyed reading and listening to music. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6 PM – 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
