Andrew Justin Hubbard (AJ to most, Bubba to his Mother), age 35 of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on September 6, 2019. Born on April 25, 1984.  The son of Krista Hertzog Snider (Michael) and James L Hubbard (Ann).  Grandmother Janet Hertzog and loving brother to Jaime Burks (Wes).  AJ is also survived by his niece Aurora and nephew Archer Burks, and many other loved relatives.

AJ had a good sense of humor and a huge heart. He was a highly talented artist that had a love for the outdoors and all animals, especially for his fur son Charlie.

One of AJ’s final poems written was entitled “Grow”.

Grow…

From the steps we have taken that made us fall,

For the steps we have taken made for all.

Feelings of freedom and a new found direction,

Universal love with new found complexion.

Grow…

Refreshed from the start,

Never have had such an open heart.

Brightness has come to me,

through sprouting trees and open seas.

Grow…

My spirit is now alive,

Through views of the world with open eyes.

Was on a path full of hate,

Only to change and then recreate.

GROW!!

A private memorial will be held at his mother’s home for immediate family and close friends. Arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.

The family asks that donations be made in Andrews honor to Animal Friends – Pittsburgh

AJ will be missed more than words can describe and we can all say we were happy to have him in our lives. He had a cool personality and was a charismatic handsome guy that could light up the room with his smile and laughter. We will all remember the good times and memories we had with him. I wont forget he was always a great friend and the most fun and funny guy to be around. He was outgoing, kind, worked and partied hard and always treated others politely with positive energy and I’m happy to know he was an animal and nature lover, I hope he is somewhere peaceful now. Sincere condolences to AJ’s mother, father and his sister and all those in his family that loved him the most. I will miss you bro! ????
