Kenneth P. Miles, 60, of Robinson Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife, daughter and son in law after a long battle with cancer. Ken was a driven professional with 32 years of service with Grinnell/Johnson Controls. His work ethic was unmatched. Ken loved his job and his time at work.

Ken was a kind and gentle man. He took extreme pride in his family, his wife Barbara, daughter Brandy Sacks, son in law Ken Sacks and his two most precious gifts, his grandchildren, Tauren Sacks (5) Taelyn Sacks (2). He loved to swim with his grandkids and attended every school play, concert and sporting event. His family was everything to Ken, a wonderful husband, dad and poppy.

Kens indomitable spirit encouraged his family and friends to always persist in the face of struggle and to never give up.

Kens spirit, his soul, his amazing ability to give will always be with us. Life will never be the same, but the world is better for the years my beloved Ken lived.

Rest in peace my love, until we can be together again.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 2 pm until 8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136, (412) 787-1800. Please view and sign the family’s online guestbook at www.PittsburghCremation.com.

My sincere condolences to the Miles family. I worked with Kenny for several years, both during Grinnell and most recently Johnson Controls. He was an extremely knowledgeable, dedicated employee. Most importantly though, you could always tell the love and passion Kenny had for his wonderful family. Rest in peace sir! Brian Allan

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Miles family working with Kenny the past 20 years He was always there to help Me as an alarm tech when I needed assistance with sprinkler issues and customers needs. Especially on the cold winter days when sprinkler lines would freeze and break. Kenny would always return My call and say what’s going on and where are You at. He will be greatly missed

Dear Barb & Family, I'm am so sorry for you loss of Kenny he was a great Man. With everything Kenny had going on he was still worried about everyone else. The first thing he would ask me when I saw him at work was how my Dad is. I loved being around Kenny if I was in a bad mood I couldn't help, but laugh when he was around. He would shoot rubber bands across the room. We got a new employee and her name was Meghann and he didn't think that should be her name he said she should be Bridget or Brittany. Kenny made us all laugh so much and he will forever be in our hearts!! God Bless you and your family at this difficult time. Sending many prayers to you all!!
