Ian Michael Prindle died suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 14, 2019 in his home. Soft spoken, yet passionate about life, he was only 43 years old.

Born April 11, 1976 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the only child of Anne Pandolfo, whom he loved and relied on as the only constant in a turbulent world.

He was an adventureous, pretty self-contained man who was blessed with intelligence, a curious spirit, and a kind heart. Despite his own tumultuous life filled with complicated choices, he had something his Finnish roots describe as Sisu. Sisu is a stoic tenacity, white-knuckle form of courage typically in situations where success is against all odds. Ian was a hard worker and had the determination to get back up and start again despite the harsh realities he faced.
He tried to live his life as Ephesians 4:32 — “be kind to each other, compassionate to one another”. He is survived by his mother, Anne, step-father, Dominick, son, Riley, and daughter, Alexis.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 19 at 5:30pm at the Heidleberg Firehall at 456 1st St, Carnegie, PA 15106.

Anne I just recently found out about Ian's passing. It's was a real sucker punch to the guy. I feel as if my a major part of my childhood died with him. Please know, had I known, I would've been there. You and Dom always treated me like a daughter. Many, many wonderful memories. Please please get in touch with me. My love and prayers for you and the family.
