It is with much sadness that we must post of the death of Amelia Patricia Williams (Redd) who was known to all as Patricia, Patty or Pat Williams. Born in Dearborn, Michigan in 1935 Patricia lived in Robinson Township for the rest of her life. Patricia left us on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the age of 85.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Redd and Amelia Redd (Murin), her infant son Ronald Jay Williams, her first-born son Lawrence “Larry” Williams and her husband of 60 years, Ronald “Ron” James Williams. She is survived by her son Jeffery J. Williams (Debra), daughter Janis Williams McKinney (Shea), daughter Lynnette Williams (Bryan), daughter-in-law Cathy Mullarkey-Williams, grandchildren Shannon, Ryan, John, Lauren, Ronnilyn, Calvin, and Calista and four great-grandchildren.

Patricia graduated from Burkett High School and had a varied work life that included working at Stouffer’s in downtown Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Valley School. Pat & Ron were members of the Czech-Slovak Association Club (CSA Club) for years, where Pat was also a volunteer.

After she married Ron in 1959, Pat was first and foremost a homemaker. She adored her children endlessly; she loved being their mom and took the opportunity to talk about them at every chance. Patty was such a sunny person with a positive outlook and a great sense of humor. Patricia considered herself a ‘Pollyanna’ and embodied positivity, never letting anything get her down for long.  She enthusiastically welcomed everyone that she met into her life. Patty enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, crafts, crosswords, playing cards and of course, cocktail hour.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 1-4 and 6-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. Service and burial will be private. Please view and sign the family’s online guestbook at www.PittsburghCremation.com.
