Angelo Charles Franco

Angelo Charles Franco, age 85 of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, September 8, 2023.

Born on April 8, 1938 to the late Carmela and Charles Franco.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Dudas Franco.  Loving father to Troy (Heather) Franco and Todd (Shelley) Franco.

Dear brother to the late Charles Franco, the late Francis Franco and Carmela Franco.  Cherished grandfather to Angelo, Lucas, Gina, Claire and Owen.

He was also blessed with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Angelo was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and he also loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

He proudly served in the U.S Army.  The most important thing in Angelo’s life was his family and he cherished the time he was able to spend with his 5 grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Angelo will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

At the request of the family, all services will be private.  Angelo will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care.
