Arthur R. Nemeth, age 84, of Washington, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024.
Born in Washington, PA on September 11, 1939, he was the son of Julius “Freckles” and Mary Kosey Nemeth.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Linda Stewart Nemeth, whom he married on October 6, 1984 in Hawaii.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Nemeth and Daniel “Dimpy” Nemeth and nephews, Ronald Stewart and Jarrod Nemeth.

Growing up he was a Boy Scout and went up to the Assistant Scout Master. He later went up to Knights of Columbus, where earned the tile of 4th degree in the color guard. For four years, he was under Moe Trappazzano for the Civil Defense. Arthur attended Trinity High School, following High School he proudly served in the US Air Force in Limestone, Maine. After being honorably discharged, he worked for over 50 years as a Brick Layer for many companies, including, Chemsteel Construction from 1966-1984, Sil Mal Construction, and Stevens Payton, where he retired in 2013.

In his free time, he loved working with leather, fishing and traveling and cruising. He loved vacationing and attending sporting events for his nephew Jarrod, his wife, Melissa and their three boys Jayden, Ryder and Landon.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind nephews, Robert and Richard Nemeth, Paul Durila, and Jay Stewart; Nieces, Kim, Marcy, Stacy and Chas and many great nieces and nephews.

At the request of Arthur, all services will be private.
