Barbara Lee Cornman, 80 of Kittanning, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Kittanning on March 14, 1941 and is the daughter of the late William H. and Wilda (Toy) Campbell. Barbara was the long-time owner of The Chief restaurant and bar on Rt 422 in Kittanning and in her free time she enjoyed camping trips with her grandchildren. Beloved mother of Debbie Wolfe, Mike Cornman, Rose Toy and the late James V. Cornman; sister of Nancy Hooks, Judy (Floyd) Smith, Janice (Jack) Barrett, Robert Campbell, Theodore Toy and the late Louise May Campbell, William Campbell, Vallie J. Slider, Shirley and Paul Grantz. Also, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great-grandchild. Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA. Barb was a third mother to me, she was wild, boisterous, and fun. She was there when we needed her and was a strong anchor when I was a child. I will never forget out cherry picking tips to lake Erie and just being included in her family. Fly high Barb, you are going to be missed.
