Brian John Bair, 61 of Hookstown, PA passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. He was born in Youngstown, OH on September 24, 1961, and is the son of the late Floyd and Genevieve (Rudnicki) Bair. He is survived by best friend and wife, Helen (Beal) Bair; his children, Raquel (Brad) Scheetz of Salem, OH, Ashley (Matthew) D’Eramo and Jonathan Beal; grandchildren, Samantha, Alice and Olivia Scheetz, Matteo and Rocco D’Eramo; siblings Gregg (Connie) Bair, Sharon (Alan) Sipos, Jackie (Robert) Kendeall, Sandy (Jim) Welch, Diane Davidson and Chris Bair. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, and his life-long best friends, Alan O’Leary, and Chris Beeman.
Brian courageously battled pulmonary fibrosis for many years. In January of 2019 he was very blessed to receive a double lung transplant — we will be forever grateful to his organ donor and his family. His battle continued as his kidney failed and he remained on dialysis.  Brian was a hero to so many… everyone that met Brian loved him.  He had a heart of gold, and was the most kind and caring person you would ever meet.
Brian had many hobbies, his favorite being remote control airplanes, as a member of the R.C. Club. He especially enjoyed spending time fishing in Florida with his best friends, Chris Beeman and Alan O’Leary.  He had a true love for the water,  enjoying scuba diving and snorkeling as he and his wife, Helen, traveled the world. He lived his life to the fullest and made the best of every single day. He will be so very missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, we would ask that you consider organ donation. Organ donors have the potential to save many lives as your legacy can live on.

Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA. Please view and sign the family’s online guestbook at www.pittsburghcremation.com

As the younger sister of Chris Beeman, growing up when most younger siblings are considered in the way, I was often the (4th) wheel with Chris, Beanie and Alan. I have so many fond memories of time spent with Beanie. In my heart he will always be a prince of a person whose heart was full of warmth, kindness and a lot of silly fun.
