Catherine E. Havko, age 95, of Robinson Township, PA passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Born on November 16, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA she is the daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine Lowrie, Sr. Beloved wife of the late Homer A. Havko, Sr.; loving mother of Art (Gillian) Havko, Ed (Cindy) Havko, Biz (Jack) Chalmers, Fran (Susan) Havko, Mary (Ray) Goodman, Jim (Christina) Havko, Fred (Lauren) Havko, Theresa (Bob) Testa, and the late Homer (surviving spouse Chris) Havko, Jr. Catherine is survived by 30 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Miklos, Jim Lowrie, Anne Koller, and the late Colette Harold, Mary Catherine Lowrie, Clare Harold, Arthur Lowrie, Jr., Edwin Lowrie, and Joe Lowrie; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Catherine ran the Holy Trinity School cafeteria for many years and worked with the Meal on Wheels organization until she was 90 years old. She was a member of the Ladies of Charity for 25 years. Catherine attended many Right to Life Marches in Washington DC. In addition, she volunteered countless hours at schools, church, and in the community, but mostly, her family came first.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 3:00-8:00pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Church, 5718 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to www.autismspeaks.org or www.paprolife.org.
