Charles Edward Rose age 81 of Washington passed away September 30, 2017.
He was born July 4, 1936 in Kirby, PA he was the son of the late Cecil Rose and Ruth Rose McMasters.
Survived by wife Donna Conklin Rose of Washington, PA; daughter, Sharon (Michael) McCracken of Lees Summit, MO and son, Kevin (Laurie) Rose of Washington, PA; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; sister, Judy (John) Fonner and brother, Jim (Ardie) Rose; and uncle, Junior (Evelyn) Rose.
Charles had a very full and blessed life enjoying his 61 year marriage to his true love Donna. He enjoyed celebrating his birthdays with family and friends at the annual 4th of July BBQ’s. He loved riding his Harley, playing Avery dart ball, camping, golfing and helping anyone.
Charles retired from Glaziers Local #751, Pittsburgh PA. He was a member of the Avery United Methodist Church, Syria Shriners, Jacques DeMolay Knights Templar, and Sunset Lodge #623.
A memorial service will be held at Avery United Methodist Church, 1100 Gabby Ave. Washington, PA 15301 on October 21, 2017 at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care.
Memorial donation in his memory can be made to Avery United Methodist Church or Masonic Charities.
