Aline, Mark, Linda, and other family members. I send my deepest condolences on the passing of Cort. I’m sorry to say that I will not be able to make it to service. Some of my fondest memories are of vacation in Pennsylvania. Cort went to Canada with my family one year and Boy Scouts. ❤️I send you my prayers. George Simcox

Rest in peace Cort! I met the Mechling family through my brothers back in 1976. Cort would come over to our house and although he was several years older than myself felt like a friend to me as well. I was also introduced to his sister Aline, in which I still talk to today. Many great times were shared with the family at the Mechling house. Prayers and strength to get through these hard times are offered. Remember the great we all shared with the great family!

I am so sorry to hear this. It has been many years, but I have only good memories of how kind and funny he was. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, and father figure to me for a period of my life. My deepest condolences to the family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
