Dale Patrick Pinto Sr. of McMurray passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024
He was born to the late Elva and John Pinto on March 17, 1936, in Pittsburgh, PA.
Beloved husband of Shirley Pinto, loving Father to Kimberly (Jeffrey) Anderson, Dennis (Tammy) Pinto, John (Sandra) Pinto, Tracy (Greg) Pulice, Dale Pinto Jr., Wanda (Glenn) Walther, Kandis (Bruce) Carpenter, and Connie Jo Ploof. Cherished grandfather of Donald, Drew, Derek, Taylor, Morgan, Ryan, Lyndsay, Alley, Justin, Jenelle, Shawn, Devon, Jessica, and David. and Dear great-grandfather to 19 great grandchildren.
Dale was preceded in death by his brothers Donald and Edwin Block.
Dale proudly served on the Police force for Upper St. Clair for 32 years, retiring in 2000 as a lieutenant. During this time, he was honored to be selected to attend the FBI National Academy. Dale truly committed his life to law enforcement. If Dale was not protecting his community, you would find him spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday March 7, 2024 from 1-8pm. Military Honors and Police services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday March 7, 2024, at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass will be held at Saint Louise de Marillac Parish, 310 McMurray Rd, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241 on Friday March 8, 2024 at 10:30 am. Everyone please meet at the church.
