Dan “The Man” McQuillan

Dan “The Man” McQuillan age 64, of Bethel Park, on Sunday, November 26, 2017 passed away peacefully.

Dan was a Pittsburgh Police Officer for 10 years.  He worked with various block watch groups, COP, DARE and walked a beat on Brookline Blvd.  He also worked for the Police Department at Duquesne University for 13 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife Janet and mother-in- law Amelia Granato; 4 sisters, Denise, Dee Dee, Audrey and Marion, and his sister and brother in law Diane and Glenn Christy; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dan loved Sanibel, Florida and his trips with Jan, Frank and Stephanie to Sanibel and Las Vegas.

In loving memory of Dan who was a cherished best friend and a wonderful husband.  We will greatly miss his smiling face and gentle manner.   Thanks to all of our friends for their kind thoughts and prayers.  Also thank you to Family Hospice and Palliative Care of Mt. Lebanon for their care and compassion.

Family and friends are welcome Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Dr., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.   A blessing service will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10 am at the funeral home.

Janet and family my deepest condolences go out to you. Dan was one of the most entertaining co workers ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our lunchtime bidding wars on the show Price is Right will never be forgotten. God Bless.
