DARRYL E. MCFARLAND

Darryl E. McFarland, age 85, of Houston passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Born on June 27, 1938 he was the son of the late Frank McFarland and Nellie Owens.

Loving husband of 63 years to Charlotte McFarland.  Proud father of Kevin (Sherry) McFarland, Robin (Debbie) McFarland, Lane (Lisa) McFarland and Rhonda (Michael) Reed.  Cherished grandfather to Alissa, Shawn, Lane, Kendel, Shannon, Connor, Lexie and Scott.  Beloved Great Grandfather of 7 great grandchildren Dear Brother of Darlene, Kenny, Mick, Connie, Kathy, and Ed.  Darryl was survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Darryl was preceded in death by his grandson Tanner McFarland and his three brothers Larry, Dale and Randy.

Anyone who knew Darryl knew his family was most important to him, and he had a true passion for collecting coins and cartridges.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Darryl’s name.

At the family’s request all services will be private.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
