David Paul Anthony Sr

David Paul Anthony Sr., age 57, of Monongahela, PA, formerly of Donora, PA, passed away on June 2, 2023. Beloved husband of Donna Anthony and special friend, Brandy Burkett. Born on May 13, 1966 in Charleroi, PA, he is the son of the late Malvern G. Anthony, Sr. and Dolores M. Davis. Loving father of Ryan Kreiter, David Paul Anthony, Jr., Devyne DeSensi Warren, Ashley Anthony, and Rebecca Anthony. Brother of Cynthia Jones, Goldie Byers, and James Anthony.  Step-father to Lance Chacko, Mathew Chacko, and Sarah Lucy. Grandfather to fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by brothers Malvern G. Anthony Jr., John E. Anthony, Thomas A. Anthony and Ralph W. Anthony, paternal grandparents John E. Anthony and Goldie Behanna, and maternal grandparents Charles Sands and Agnes Robb.

Throughout David’s life, he enjoyed landscaping and had a passion for automotive work. There wasn’t a vehicle that he couldn’t fix. He always said that he loved his family more than they would ever know. He was also a jack of all trades and would do anything to help even a stranger out. He was a beacon of hope no matter how hard life got that was one thing he held onto. He touched many people with that beacon. One thing we’re going to miss is seeing him smile. He loved his grandchildren & great grandchild so much. He had the biggest heart we had ever known. We want to thank you again for being so understanding and compassionate during this difficult time

Internment will take place at Salem Church Cemetery. A wake will be announced at a later time at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Peters Township.
