Diane R. Sittter

Diane R. Sitter, age 79, of Pittsburgh, PA. passed on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Beloved wife of Glenn Mitch Sitter. Born October 5, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, she is the daughter of the late John and Margaret Ruprecht. Mother of Andrea Bratich (Eli) and Phillip Sitter (Nikkie); grandmother of Ariel, Peter, and Ilija; sister of Margaret Abbott, Karen Marshall, Cindy Stanga, and Lori Leaman; also survived by nieces and nephews.

She taught primary school at Burkett Elementary. She was a graduate of Slippery Rock University (B.S.) and University of Pittsburgh (M.B.A.). She was accepted to attend Carnegie Mellon’s P.H.D. program. She was involved in various business ventures including oil and gas exploration.

Family and friends will gather at Resurrection Cemetery 100 Resurrection Road Moon Township, PA 15108 on Saturday, April 22, 2023  at 1:30pm. Please gather at the cemetery chapel.
