Donald J. Mears, age 92, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2021.
Born on January 6, 1929 in Pittsburgh.
Beloved husband of Kathleen Mears for 50 years; loving father of the late Joyce Mears; cherished grandfather of Caitlin McNamara and Ryan (Lillian Cannon) McNamara; and dear brother of the late Judson Mears.
Friends and family are welcome Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 3-7 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 310 Kane Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15243. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Full military honors will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donald’s name to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, at Humaneanimalrescue.org/donate.
