On Pentecost Sunday, June 5, 2022, God called our Mom, Doris Mikolich, home.
Doris married the love of her life, William Mikolich, who precedes her in death. Through their 69 years of marriage, they raised four daughters: Noreen (the late Dave) Ficht, Kathleen (Thomas) Bullions, Cynthia (William) Parry, and Nancy (fiancée Randy Poness) Mikolich. Doris has four grandchildren – Nicole (James) Becker, Charisse (Conor) Mullen, Thomas Bullions and Matthew Bullions – and four great-grandchildren – Samantha and Logan Becker, and Nia and Aria Mullen. Family meant everything to mom.
Doris was born in 1931 to Stanley and Sophie Kalaskie. She grew up in Greggs, Oakdale, PA, then moved with her parents and brother, the late William Kalaskie, to Muse, PA, where she was a high school majorette. Doris was a life-long member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, located in Muse. Doris loved to entertain her family and friends, in particularly, the time spent with her niece, Judy Kerr, and nephew, William Kalaskie.

Doris loved to cook, explore flea markets, go to casinos, and garden. Doris also enjoyed summers camping at Lake Erie on Presque Isle.

She spent her final years at Country Meadows Assisted Living, where she made many good friends.
Doris wished to have no visitation. A private Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
