Dorothy Ann Kreinbihl

Dorothy Ann Kreinbihl, age 94, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Columbus, OH passed away peacefully on June 3, 2023.

Born on December 16, 1928, in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Allen O. and Dorothy C. McGinnis.

Beloved wife of the late John H. Kreinbihl, Sr; Loving mother of Anne (the late John) Gee, John H. (Jayne) Kreinbihl; and Beth (Bruce) Kerlin; cherished grandmother of Sarah (Socrates) Zacharias, Matthew (Laura) Kreinbihl, Laura Allen Kerlin, Emily Kerlin and great-grandchildren Emma, John Anna and Bradley; and dear sister of Suzanne (Barry) Barndt.

Dorothy was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, was involved in the Childhood League in Columbus, and was a docent with the Columbus Museum of Art. She was actively involved in Stephen Ministries and passionately volunteered at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dorothy was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Columbus.

All services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the OSU College of Human Ecology where Dorothy served on the advisory board.
