Eric M. Brendel

Eric M. Brendel also known as “The Fun Guy” or “The Puma” age 59 of Whitehall passed away peacefully November 26, 2017.

Born on May 8, 1958, he was the son of Fred Brendel and the late Eleanor Brendel.

He was the loving father of Christian Brendel and Erica Brendel; dear brother of Gary (Anne) Brendel, Linda (Steve) Henderson, Mark (Shelly) Brendel, and Jay (Sue) Brendel; also survived by the mother of his children, Christy Brendel, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Eric was a proud and dedicated member of Local 5 Electrical Union.  He enjoyed being outdoors, but most of all he  loved being at his camp entertaining friends and family.  Eric was always one to put a smile on everyone’s face, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are welcome Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 3-8 pm at Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317.  A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10 am at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin, 5200 Greenridge Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15236.  EVERYBODY PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eric’s name to the American Diabetes Association at www.donations.diabetes.org.
