Esther M. McGonigle

Esther M. McGonigle, age 89, of Peters Township, passed away just before her 90th birthday on February 13, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Ella and Karl Baumgartner; beloved wife of the late John McGonigle; loving mother of Donald (Elizabeth) McGonigle and Craig (Alba) McGonigle; and cherished grandmother of James, Colleen, Kimberly, and Alan.

Esther enjoyed sewing, playing Bridge, music and football. She often volunteered at Canonsburg Hospital and was Treasurer for the Cumberland Soaring Group. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Burial at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Rd., Bridgeville, PA 15017 will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 9:30 am. Everyone please meet at the cemetery.
