Gary Poliwczak

Gary Poliwczak, 72 of McKees Rocks, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. He was born in Pittsburgh on July 3, 1951 and is the son of the late Peter and Edna Poliwczak. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Catherine “Kay”. Beloved father of Ginny (David) Rich and Tracy (Mark) Kautzman; brother of Patricia (Ross) Flora and Ellen Vratoric. Gary was loved and adored by his granddaughter Victoria Rich, his sisters-in-law Sue Barron and Betty Blatz, and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Lisa Malay for helping to keep Gary organized at home for years.

Gary was a man of many jokes, most of which were unsavory. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and camping at Bear Run Campground for 25+ years. He retired from Frank B. Furher after 25+ dedicated years of service and was an iron worker prior to that. He was a generous man to family, friends and his charities.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 4-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at Archangel Gabriel Parish (St. Mary Church) 1011 Church Ave., McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
