George A. Sowers

George A. Sowers, age 88, of Finleyville, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Joan T. Sowers; loving father of Jeffrey (Kelly Foster) Sowers and Cheryl (Candie Cook) Sowers; son of the late Harry Sowers and Olga Signorini; also survived by sister Patricia Keenan and brother the late Harry “Curly” (Louise) Sowers, Jr.; uncle of Karen (Jim) Boni, Jeanne (Jay) DeAngelo, Robert (Roxann) Gross, Donna (Tim) Hruby, Susan Salter, Robert Keenan, Kim (Steve) Bock, and the late Debbi (surviving spouse Ken) Farmer. George enjoyed vacationing with his family. He also loved watching the Steelers and all sports on TV. His laughter and smile will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 4:00-8:00pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. Mass of Christian Burial at Archangel Gabriel Parish (Holy Trinity Church) on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00am. Entombment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
