Gerald Penfield

Gerald “Gerry” Penfield, age 80 of Kennedy Township, passed away on April 14, 2022 after a short illness. He was the son of the late Ruth Penfield and is survived by his “adopted” family, parents Rhoda and Martin Bruce and sister Lisa Bruce of Hampton Township. Gerry lived a full life and will be remembered for his boisterous sense of humor and love for his family and friends. Gerry loved going to camp every year where he drove go carts, shot arrows, went wall climbing, and canoeing. He also loved going out on coffee and donut dates to Dunkin, making yarn rugs and blankets for his friends, and going fishing every summer even though he never caught one. Gerry had a wild side and later in life enjoyed going axe throwing at Seven Springs. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved girlfriend Rose at Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Robinson Township.
