Germaine Ayres, age 42, after a long battle against breast cancer, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, March 23, 2017. Born on May 10, 1974, she was the daughter of the late Florence “Emmy” Weimerskirch Ayres. Loving wife of Randy Grentz; beloved mother of Danielle Grentz; cherished sister of Edwin F. Ayres, Mark (Phyllis) Ayres, and Timmy Ayres. Also survived by several neices, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Ayres.
Germaine was a strong-willed, loving, caring, and kind person. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her cat, Butters.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi, 3609 Washington Ave, Finleyville, PA 15332.
