Heather Lyn Molek Fister, 44, of California, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018.
She was born June 12, 1973, a daughter of John and Jacqueline Molek, who survives.
Heather was a manager at the California Young Men’s Club, an employee at California Hill Gun Club, and a bartender at the California Italian Club. She coordinated many benefits over the years through her work to raise funds for Children’s hospital of Pittsburgh, St Jude’s Children’s hospital, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Wounded Warriors, and various other charities. She attended California University for criminal justice. Those who knew her know that laughter was part of her everyday life in the best and worst of times. She made an impact on so many lives throughout her journey in life and showed strength, an incredible sense of humor, positivity and selflessness, even at the start of a very early age. And to those who knew her, do not be sad that she is gone but be happy that she was here.
She was a loving and devoted mother to her two daughters with whom she was best friends, Rachel and Ashley Fister. She leaves behind, Todd Hilling, her loving companion of 9 years, and 5 cats. She is survived and loved forever by sisters, Jonny Petros, Missy Molek, Lisa Scherer, Betty Lou King,Jennifer King, Kathy Marran, Cindy Impiccini, and one brother Michael Molek, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Molek Burkley.
Family and friends will be notified of a special gathering at a later date.
