James “Jimbo” Leslie Wilkinson, Age 58, of Shippingport, PA passed on Friday, May 10, 2019. Born on October 20, 1960 in Washington, PA. son of Dorothy Lorraine Lyons and the late Richard Paul “Dick” Wilkinson, step son of Georgiann Edmunds; Loving father of Amanda Sue (Kevin Ewald) Wilkinson, James Leslie Wilkinson II, Kayla (Dennis) Stuckwish, and Alyssa Leanne (Brandon) McAuley; Brother of Richard “Rick” Paul Wilkinson II, Timothy Allen (Leah) Wilkinson, Joyce Lorraine Wilkinson, and Janice Kaye (Tony) Elizinga; Grandfather of Matthew Joseph Wilkinson, Brayden Robert Booth, Dennis Bean Stuckwish, Mathias James Wilkinson, Kloe Karlena Stuckwish,  Brea Celene McAuley, Brody McAuley, Hayden Ewald and Paige Ewald; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  James “Jimbo” as he was known by friends, spent the past few years living with his son. He started most mornings with his traditional  “muffins and milk” with his grandson Mathias.  Jimbo loved being outdoors and spending time with his grandbabies. His favorite activities included fishing, spending time in the woods, “tinkering” with small engines and taking the grandkids for a ride on the latest  project he had been working on. Whether it be a tractor or go-kart, the kids loved it!  Jimbo was always willing to lend a helping hand. He once drove three hours to Columbus , Ohio on a moment’s notice to assist his oldest daughter with a car repair. Often times he could be found helping an elderly neighbor with house and landscaping upkeep. Jimbo was always there when anyone needed him. He had a huge heart and cared deeply for his family and friends. Jimbo was a great father and will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Christian House Baptist Church 814 State Route 18 Aliquippa, PA 15001. Private arrangements by Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson, Twp.
