James W. Cope

James William Cope, 83 of Imperial, went to be with the Lord and his wife Sylvia, on Monday, February 19, 2024. James was born on July 18, 1940 to Maynard and Irene (Everett) Cope. James was a devout Christian and attended West Ridge Community Church in Imperial regularly. He is survived by his sons William M. Bryant, Jr., Donald M. (Linda) Bryant, the late James M. Bryant, Donna M. (John R.) Goldinger, and Deborah M. Hammerle. Loving grandfather of 23, including Michael Bryant, Autumn Bryant, Janice Goldinger, Melissa Goldinger, John R. Goldinger, II, Eugenia Fonzi, Patrick Gilbert, Sean and Paul Bryant, Thomas R. Lyda, Joseph D. Williams, Ashley R. Williams, and the late Elizabeth Gilbert ; also 33 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his brothers William and Robert and his sister Patty Shimp.
Friends will be received on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. The service will follow the visiting hours at 4:00 pm with West Ridge Community Church.
