Jan was without a doubt the kindest soul I have met in this life. He raised 3 wonderful women who will go out and bring good to the world, just like their father did. I had the privilege of meeting this great person and I can only hope to one day be a fraction of the man he was. Jan has had a lasting impact on my life and so many others. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten. My condolences Tyler Short

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done. ~Irish Blessing

Kayla, Kiersten, Hannah, Jean, Joel and Marty, My family and I join you in celebrating the life of Jan. I feel very fortunate to have him as a friend and fraternity brother and will forever remember the times we spent together laughing hysterically at UPJ and as recently as last May for a Guys Weekend. You are in our thoughts.

For 30 plus years i have known Jan to be a true friend, a gentle soul with a strong faith that walked with the Lord. A more loving and devoted father could not be found. Jan will be missed, yet the beautiful memories remain. Until we meet again my friend...
