Janet Ryan Higby

Janet Ryan Higby, 73 of Newell, PA passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was born in McKeesport, PA on July 19, 1950 and is the daughter of the late Alex and Rose Zugeber. Janet is the beloved wife of Christopher Powell and loving mother of Tony (Ruth Farmer) Ryan and John (Kim) Higby. She is also survived by her brother Karl Alexander; grandchildren Mariah Klein, Dylan and Paisley Higby and great-grandchildren Ellianna Klein.

Janet loved the beach and traveling to Ocean City and Geneva on the Lake. To her family, she was the best cook in the world.
