Jean E. Houston

Jean E. Houston, age 97 of Pittsburgh, PA formerly of Howell, New Jersey passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022. Born on August 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Helen and John Throckmorton. Beloved wife to the late Richard “Bud” Houston. Loving mother to Sandra Morrissey. Cherished grandmother to Jennifer Kohms, Josh (Katie) and Doug (Jess) Morrissey. Loving great grandmother to Ameila, Mallory, and Mairin Vanhoorebeck, Bergen Andresen, Elska, and Gunnar Morrissey, and Stephanie Undereiner. She was preceded in death by her son, John Kohms and her sister Anne Asay.

Jean enjoyed sewing. She loved to make quilts, clothes and anything you can think of. Jean left a mark on everyone’s life and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
