Johanna Wiant, 75, of Aspinwall, died December 24, 2021. Johanna was born February 18, 1946, to the late Francis and Mary Baldi McCallister in Curtisville, PA. Johanna was a graduate of Deer Lakes High School and Seton Hill College (’67), and held a MSW from the University of Pennsylvania.

Johanna was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Scholastica in Aspinwall. A tender-hearted person, she had a particular soft spot for animals and lived to spoil her dogs, Agatha and Matilda. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Gary, daughters Carey (Eric) Nyberg and Amanda (Mark) Carlisle, and grandchildren Ian, Caroline and James Nyberg and Isabella and Alana Carlisle.  She is also survived by her brother, Daniel McCallister, and nephews Daniel and Damian. She is preceded in death by nephew Donald and sister-in-law Joyce.

A private memorial service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township.
