Joseph Tretinik

With a heavy heart, we announce that Joseph Tretinik, 88, of Clarksville, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 12, 2023. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Shirley, two daughters, Tonia and Tracy, in addition to his siblings, John, Albert, William (Sonny), and Kathleen (Toots). He is survived by his two sons, Joseph and Scott, his two grandchildren, Austin and Makenna, as well as his remaining siblings, Irma and Bob. He was also blessed with a large community of nieces, nephews and friends.

Joseph served 23 years in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Technical Sergeant. In addition to his work, he enjoyed the small luxuries in life of hunting and fishing. He was a proud member of the Free and Accepted Masons for over 50 years. Throughout his time, he gained the title of Grand Master of the Alameda Lodge No. 167. Born and raised in Clarksville, he returned to his hometown later in life to retire in the community he knew. Our family is grateful to know that Joseph is finally at peace.
