Judith R. Kleppner Jones (Judy)

Judith R. Kleppner Jones (Judy) passed away on January 7, 2024. She was born on April 13, 1937 in Washington, PA and was the daughter of William J. Kleppner and Ruth E. Kleppner of Washington, PA. In April of 1950 she was baptized at the First Christian Church of Washington and later joined the Presbyterian Church.

Judy graduated from Laboratory School in 1951 and then from Trinity High School in 1955. She married Benjamin T. Jones in 1957. They had two children, Stephanie C. Aaron (Stu) of Los Altos, CA and Jeffrey T. Jones of Canonsburg, PA. She has five grandchildren, Cory Jones and Megan Dennis (Frank) of Canonsburg, PA and Alec, Jessica and Sydney Aaron of Los Altos, CA. In 1986 Judy moved to Richmond, VA where she worked for Stuart Circle Hospital and The Hartford Insurance Co. After transferring to Alexandria, VA with The Hartford she retired in 2002. That same year she moved back to Washington where she continued to work for ServiceMaster, Service by Guthrie until 2017. In 2003 Judy joined the Lagonda Homemakers and became a member of The Red Hat Tea Divas.

The most precious moments of her life were those spent with her children, her grandchildren and her very dear friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on February 2, 2024 from 10 am until the memorial service at 12 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
